Group 3: Completed
Group 4: July 30th 2022
A series of four x 1-day family-of-origin group sessions over a 6-month period. A maximum of 3 participants in the 1-day closed group. Participants prepare and bring to the sessions a series of family-of-origin explorations, which are presented to the group within a safe psychotherapeutic dialogical space. Reflective group processes support each participant in moving towards an increased awareness, understanding, sensitivity and attunement to their personal and professional self – in their ‘way of being’ in clinical practice.
Please Note: Introductory Course (differing versions) is preferred or to be discussed prior to registration
WHO ARE THESE GROUPS FOR?
For therapists, clinicians and counsellors who seek an increased integration of their personal & professional self, by which to underpin their ‘way of being’ in clinical practice.
The dialogical process in the closed group format requires that each participant commits to attending all four sessions over a 6-month period.

REFLECTION FROM A PAST PARTICIPANT:
'It has felt important to participate in a family of origin group ever since I committed to systemic practice in my clinical work. However, I was apprehensive about finding a ‘safe enough’ approach and fit for this vulnerable work. Judith is exceptional at holding a group space and process that is open, thoughtful, safe and respectful. This provided the fit I needed. It was hard, challenging and exhausting at times. However, it helped me to see and appreciate myself, my history and my family relationships in a more real, holistic, connected and integrated way. It also helped me experience in action and ‘understand’ dialogical practice on a deeper level through the reflective processes and the relationships that developed with other group members.'
